Nora Hurchick
$1000 Scholarship Recipient
Nora Hurchick of Scranton, Pennsylvania
Nora will attend Duqusne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this fall. A
strong believer in hard work and dedication, she feels that no task is too big
to accomplish. Nora has volunteered to help with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and
also completed a bone marrow donor drive as part of her senior project. Nora
was sponsored by her mother, Gail Yasinskas Hurchick ’77 who says "Nora
truly embodies the Bradford motto in that she does "rise to serve".
She will be a committed member to every community she is involved with."
