Lauren Nichole Judd: $2200 Award

Lauren is ranked in the top 5% of her graduating class at Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma where she will be distinguished as one of the Valedictorians at graduation.  She will attend Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in the fall where she has been admitted with an Honors at Entrance Certificate.  She has been part of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society and has received an outstanding academic achievement award in Pre AP Geometry.  She attended a 3 day leadership training retreat where her leadership skills were developed.  Lauren is described as a go getter, assertive, hard working and an above-and-beyond individual.  She independently raised $5,500 for Oklahoma City Rescue Mission in 2013-2014.  "I believe that compassion, concern for the suffering of others, is the root of education."
